Angels

Biblical Truths About Angels

A careful reading of the Bible and other Scriptures helps us better understand the orderly character of ELOHIM and the hierarchy He established in all His creation.

The Bible confirms that the hosts of heaven were created prior to the creation of the earth and man.

  • Job 38:4-7: "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Who fixed its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its foundations set, or who laid its cornerstone, while the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"

The celestial realm is divided into several orders, grades and ranks. Each element that has movement is controlled by a spirit. Thus there is the spirit of the winds, the spirit of the clouds, the spirit of the sun, the spirit of the moon, etc.

The ones commonly called "angels", are celestial beings with multiple forms and appearances. They are divided into orders:

  • The higher order is an intellectual movement that includes:  Cherubim, Seraphim and Thrones

  • The middle order is a movement of authority that includes: Dominations, Powers and authorities

  • The lower order is a movement of protection to which is entrusted the protection of man. This order includes: the Archangels, the Principalities and the Angels.  The Archangels in particular have a remarkable physical strength. Thus in a physical fight, this order will always prevail over those of the higher and middle category.
