According to apogryphal Scriptures, to understand their origin, we must go back to the time of Noah; when the sons of YAHWEH (angels) transgressed the divinely established boundary between heaven and earth by mating with humans giving birth to giants*. Notice that several Tribes of Giants are mentioned in the Bible: Amalekites, Amorites, Anakim, Emim, Caphtorim, Rephaim, Zamzummim, etc.

• Genesis 6:4 "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them."

According to the book of Enoch, which was removed from the Catholic canon in the 4th century but preserved by rabbinic Judaism and the Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox churches, these giants began to commit all sorts of reprehensible acts on earth: drinking blood, cannibalism, unnatural vice, etc.

• Enoch 9:9 "And the women bore giants, and thereby the whole Earth has been filled with blood and iniquity."

• Enoch 7:4-5 "And the giants turned against them in order to devour men. And they began to sin against birds, and against animals, and against reptiles, and against fish, and they devoured one another's flesh, and drank the blood from it."

For a period of 100 years and through Noah, YAHWEH warned He would destroy the earth, but humans would not listen to His warnings. He eventually ordered a Worldwide Flood, mainly to cleanse the earth and destroy the giants. 

​

The Scriptures reveal that these giants had inherited the celestial and human composition of their parents. However, YAHWEH did not allow their souls and wicked immortal spirits to ascend to Him in the heavens, but rather remain on earth.

• "And now, the giants who were born from body and flesh will be called Evil Spirits on the Earth, and on the Earth will be their dwelling. And evil spirits came out from their flesh, because from above they were created, from the Holy Watchers was their origin and first foundation. Evil spirits they will be on Earth and ‘Spirits of the Evil Ones’ they will be called. And the dwelling of the Spirits of Heaven is Heaven, but the dwelling of the spirits of the Earth, who were born on the Earth, is Earth. And the spirits of the giants do wrong, are corrupt, attack, fight, break on the Earth, and cause sorrow. And they eat no food, do not thirst, and are not observed. And these spirits will rise against the sons of men, and against the women, because they came out of them during the days of slaughter and destruction." |The Book of Enoch Chapter 15:8-12|

We can therefore assume that demons are myriads of spirits that came out of the souls of the giants after their destruction. Curiously, some demons have claimed during exorcism sessions that their home was in the heavens, suggesting that they were once angels. Don't forget that demons are liars and very cunning, and this could be a tactic to conceal their true origin and create confusion.

Their mission is to corrupt, mislead and destroy the ungodly. They attack men and rule over them. These spirits cannot return to ELOHIM due to their wicked nature and because they are condemned to wander the earth until the end of time, at which point they will be cast into Gehenna (hell) fire.

• Matthew 8:29 "What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?"

To this effect, we find in the Bible one verse that seems to support the idea that the emergence of demons goes back to the destruction of the great antediluvian Babylon*. In this context, the term Babylon means "Enemies of God."

• Revelations 18:2 "And he cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons and a haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, and every detestable beast."

Once you gain an understanding of the origin of demons, you will come to realize that they are the serious consequence of acts of disobedience. In this respect, disobeying ELOHIM has very serious repercussions and implications.
